Dirk Eichhorst teaches two classes for aspiring screenwriters and filmmakers periodically in cooperation with the
Continuing Education Programs at community colleges throughout Michigan.
“Dirk Eichhorst was the best teacher I ever had the pleasure of learning from.
I look up to him greatly as a mentor. I learned more than I ever imagined. It has totally helped me in pursuing my career.
I feel totally confident now in the subject of screenwriting. Dirk Eichhorst is amazing!”
– Rene, student, Macomb Community College
"As a freelance editor and writer, I'm familiar with many forms of prose...except for screenplays and scripts.
After I attended Dirk's workshop on script and screenwriting, though, I felt comfortable enough with their conventions
to want to pursue scriptwriting projects with collaborators.
Thank you, Dirk, for being so clear, concise, and well-organized in your presentation!"
– Lisa, attendee, Rochester Writers Conference
